Uscc 3/8 Clevis Grab Hook-Grade 80

Our clevis grab hooks are intended for use with transport chain in heavy duty tie down applications. A non-cradle design allows it to fit through a flatbed trailer rub rail for quick yet secure connections. Alloy fabrication; not approved for overhead lifting due to the exposed cotter pin. Grab hook for tie down use is also available in a forged grade 80 chain: 1/2 Clevis Grab Hook-Grade 80.

This grade 70 clevis sling hook, sometimes referred to as a slip hook, is durable and features a wider throat than the clevis grab hooks. Forged, heat treated and coated with a yellow zinc chromate finish, this high quality slip hook can survive even the toughest conditions. Made to Grade 70 standards, these sling hooks are built to last and attach easily to our transport chain.

These clevis hooks can be attached easily and the narrow throat opening of these clevis grab hooks can clasp back onto the chain reliably. These hefty clevis hooks, when used to join attachments to wire rope or welded chain, are sturdy enough for the toughest of jobs.
