Fishing Line Testing - Beyond Braid 8x 15lb Braid

Anyone have an opinion on beyond braid? I spoiled up a few reels & was excited until I broke off on that little plastic “line storage” tab on the reel. 40# line.

If I put braided fishing line that has a higher pound test than my reel/rod is rated for, but it is the same size as the mono pound test, what will happen?
