Double-braid rope is the most commonly used rope for rigging trees because of its high strength and low stretch. The name describes this rope's construction, 2 ropes in one. The inner core is protected by a tightly woven outer jacket, creating a very strong, flexible line with low stretch characteristics. In the final stage of manufacturing, Stable-Braid ropes are dip-coated in a bath of liquid Samthane that dries into an abrasion-resistant shell.

7/64 AmSteel®-Blue (Orange) – Hang Free™
AmSteel-Blue is a torque-free 12-strand single braid that yields the maximum in strength-to-weight ratio and, size for size, is the same strength as steel-yet it floats. AmSteel-Blue outlasts wire 3 1, making it an excellent wire rope replacement. It has extremely low stretch and superior flex fatigue and wear resistance. Samthane coating enhances that already high abrasion and cut resistance.
